My buddy is looking at buying one today for $900. Pics below. Looks beat on to me but I figured the Oppo hive mind would have a better idea of what this is and if it’s a good deal.

Have they ever ridden one? It appears to have all the bad things about a moped (small, slow, buzzy, etc) without any of the good things about a moped (comfortable seating position).
You also get to deal with carbs . Fun!
I feel like they would be better off looking for a used Yamaha Zuma

No no no no no no for the love of god NO.
These things are literally just Chinese scooters made to look like sportbikes. They’re painfully slow and handle like crap (again, it’s a cheap scooter that only looks like a sportbike ). They’re also made with the cheapest of everything and for $900 you can get so many real motorcycles. I’d pay no more than $400, tops.
And all this is coming from someone who otherwise has massive respect for the Chinese motorcycle industry..

Listen to Miss Mercedes.
Also, I wouldn’t buy anything that isn’t made by Honda/Yamaha/Kawasaki/Suzuki and doesn’t have fuel injection. It’s just not worth having to fuck with, ask Jake.
